The UFL wrapped up Week 4 with its games over the weekend.
The Arlington Renegades, with ECU alumni Holton Ahlers, Isaiah Winstead and Garrett McGhin, beat the St. Louis Battlehawks 30-15 on Saturday. The team improved to 3-1 on the season. Ahlers was in on a pass play that was incomplete. McGhin started on the offensive line for the fourth straight game while Winstead had two catches for 14 yards and a catch for a two-point conversion after the team’s first touchdown.
Former ECU football coach Skip Holtz led the Birmingham Stallions to a 23-16 win over the Houston Roughnecks to improve to 3-1 on the season.
The DC Defenders and former J.H. Rose High School star Cornell Powell lost for the first time this season, dropping a 24-18 game to the San Antonio Brahmas. Powell had three catches for 52 yards.
