Trey Yesavage wins first Double-A game, could pitch in MLB Futures Game

by | Jun 26, 2025

East Carolina baseball alum Trey Yesavage had another excellent start Wednesday for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

He went five innings, giving up a hit in the first inning, a walk and striking out nine. He returned to his dominant form after being roughed up in his last outing. It was also his fourth shutout start overall this season.

He now has 104 strikeouts in 62.1 innings.

With another solid outing, he becomes a possible candidate to pitch in the Futures Game during the Major League Baseball All-Star break. BlueJaysNation.com believes Yesavage and another top pitching prospect, Arjun Nimmala, could get the chance to play.
