Trey Day: Trey Yesavage shines in Spring Training debut

by | Mar 15, 2025

It was Trey Day for the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday.

Former East Carolina star pitcher Trey Yesavage threw for the first time during Spring Training as the Blue Jays took on the Minnesota Twins. It was during their Spring Breakout game, where teams showcase some of their top minor-league talent.

Yesavage was solid in two innings of work, striking out three batters.

it is likely his only appearance in Spring Training as he will be sent down to his minor-league assignment. But it was sure nice to see that he hasn’t lost a step from his days at ECU.
