The Toronto Blue Jays reliever came on in the bottom of the fifth inning and struck out Ryan Kreidler, Trey Swenney and Gleyber Torres. Two strikeouts were swinging and one was a foul tip catch.
Hoffman pitched an inning and struck out one in his previous outing. In this one, he threw 14 pitches, 10 of them strikes, to get all three batters out.

Toronto won the game 13-3 as both teams broke out the bats after the sixth inning.
Connor Norby gets hit, run
Connor Norby got his third hit and second run of Spring Training for the Miami Marlins in a 1-1 tie with the New York Mets.
Norby singled to start the sixth inning and moved to second on a wild pitch. Derek Hill then singled to move Norby to third before Griffin Conine singled in Norby.
Norby has three hits in Spring Training and is batting .214.
