Michigan’s football team continues to look for a quarterback to complete this season’s team. A former East Carolina signal caller may be the answer.
CBSSports.com reports former ECU QB Jake Garcia visited the school earlier this week. Garcia is available after he announced on April 15 he was entering the transfer portal.
Garcia has played at Missouri and Miami before coming to ECU. He began the season as the starter but Kaitin Houser bacame the starter after Blake Harrell took over as interim football coach following the firing of Mike Houston.
Garcia finished the season 188 of 310 (66.6%) for 2,376 yards. He threw 15 touchdowns but also had 16 interceptions, which was a big reason for the change.

SI.com wrote that Michigan has three options at quarterback but none of them are enticing the coaches or fans, which could lead to the move. On3.com’s Pete Nakos posted on X that he believes the move will happen.
