Pirates in UFL roundup: Isaiah Winstead had banner game in Arlington win

by | Apr 6, 2025

ECU alum and Arlington Renegades wide receiver Isaiah Winstead had his best game of the young UFL season on Sunday.

Winstead had seven catches for 73 yards, including a beauty along the sidelines with the game tied at 3-3 against the Houston Roughriders. Arlington won the game, 11-9.

Winstead now has 11 catches for 92 yards in two games this season.

Arlington backup quarterback and ECU alum Holton Ahlers did not record any stats in Sunday’s game. He had two handoffs that led to touchdowns in last week’s win over San Antonio.

Fellow ECU alum Garrett McGhin started his second straight game at offensive tackle.
