Connor Norby had a big day at the plate but his Marlins couldn’t pick up a win over the Mariners, dropping a 7-6 decision.

Norby was 3-for-4 with his first homer of the season, a three-run blast that cut the margin to 7-6. His homer came in the eighth inning. The Marlins went quietly in the ninth to spoil the comeback.
He also singled in the fifth and scored and doubled in the sixth but was left stranded.
His big day put him at .303 at the plate this season.
Zach Agnos
For the third time in his brief career in the majors, the ECU alum did well on the mound.
He pitched two innings in the Rockies’ 8-1 loss to the Reds. He gave up two hits and struck out one to keep his ERA at 0.00 for the season. The strikeout was the first in the big leagues.
In four games over 5.1 innings, he’s given up five hits, struck out one and walked none. He has one hold on the season.
Carter Cunningham
He had his third straight quality start, playing DH in a 9-8 win over Everett.
Cunningham went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a walk and a run scored to push his average to .231 on the season. He is 5-for-10 with three runs and four RBI in his last three games.
He singled in a run in the second, singled in the fifth and walked and scored in the ninth to give Vancouver the lead for good.
