Pirates add another player to 2025-26 roster

Another basketball player has announced on social media that he is headed to East Carolina.

Vito Perkovic posted on his X account that he would be joining the Pirates. He wrote, 100% COMMITED! Let’s Go Pirate Nation.

He averaged 12.6 points and 6.0 rebounds per game as a senior at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, Tenn. He also shot 40% from 3-point range.

The 6-foot-10 forward/center averaged 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds over his prep career, according to MaxPreps. He posted to his X account on April 30 that he was making a visit to ECU on May 2.
