The transfer portal is now open, and at least two East Carolina baseball players have made the move.
On3Sports.com’s Jonathan Wagner posted to X that pitchers Lance Williams and Ian White Jr. have entered the transfer portal. White also posted the news to his X account.

Williams, a right-handed freshman starting pitcher from Shenandoah, Va., was 3-1 with a 5.31 ERA in 40.2 innings this season. After taking an early-season loss to North Carolina, he picked up wins against Charlotte (April 13), UTSA (May 10) and against Florida in the NCAA Conway Regional on Sunday. He struck out 47 and walked 29, giving up 25 runs, 24 of them earned.
White, a right-handed freshman pitcher from Malvern, Pa., was 2-1 with a 3.60 ERA in 10 innings pitched out of the bullpen. He picked up wins over VCU (March 11) and William & Mary (March 15). He finished with 11 strikeouts and nine walks while giving up five runs, four earned, on seven hits.
