Keaton Mitchell is so fast … how fast is he?

The old comic line applies to the East Carolina running back as the Baltimore Ravens wrapped up the second week of OTAs on Friday. Media outlets have been reporting on how good and fast he’s looked this week.

The Baltimore Banner’s Jonas Shaffer gave his input on Mitchell and how he’s been performing, saying in part in an online article, “Mitchell, one of the Ravens’ fastest players, didn’t need long to make Martin look slow. He separated easily on his slot fade, looked back for the 15-yard pass from quarterback Devin Leary and got both feet in for a touchdown.”

Ravens coach John Harbaugh is one of the many who have been pleased what they’ve seen from Mitchell so far.

“Last year, probably, you could tell he was thinking through the knee [injury] a little bit, it seemed like,” Harbaugh said. “I haven’t seen any of that so far this spring, so it’s good to see.”
