ECU alum Keaton Mitchell continues to recover from the ACL tear in his left knee.
The Baltimore Ravens running back returned to play for some games during the 2024 season, returning kicks and even getting a few carries in the backfield to spell Derrick Henry.
His best game was when he rushed for 20 yards on 11 carries on Christmas Day in a 31-2 win over the Texans. Mitchell finished the season with 15 carries for 30 yards and had a catch for 28 yards. However, it just didn’t seem he was back to his 100 percent, and the Ravens seemed in no hurry to showcase him.
Mitchell had a candid interview with The Vault, a podcast that talks all things Baltimore Ravens. Bobby Baltimore and Sarah Ellison covered numerous topics with Mitchell in a live broadcast on YouTube during the NFL draft.
“Got some time off to be able to really take care of my knee and do the things to get back to my normal self,” Mitchell said. “Now I feel 100% back to my old self, running with the guys full speed. Nah, it’s gonna be a movie this year for sure.”
