Justin Hardy listed among top free agents in CFL

by | Jan 14, 2025

Success has its advantages, especially when you’re a free-agent athlete looking to get big bucks when signing a new contract.

ECU Alum and Ottawa RedBlacks receiver Justin Hardy certainly proved that point last season. He is ranked No. 5 among free agents by CFL.ca. They believe he’ll stay in Ottawa but could command big bucks no matter where he lands.

In 2024, Hardy had 97 catches for 1,343 yards and five touchdowns. The website credits Pro Football Focus for stats that include dropping just one pass all season, being second in the CFL in receiving first downs (62) and second in explosive plays (44).

The free agency open period starts in February.
