The Denver Broncos have placed a 1-year, $1.03 million tender to ECU alum and cornerback Ja’Quan McMillian.
According to USA Today’s Broncos Wire, the team exercised the deal after McMillian’s contract expired. He became a free agent and was given an Exclusive Rights Free Agent deal on Tuesday.
McMillian earned $915,000 last season, the website reports. He could sit out the season if he doesn’t sign the deal but can’t negotiate with other NFL teams.
