Jacob Jenkins-Cowart promoted to High-A Beloit

East Carolina baseball alum Jacob Jenkins-Cowart better like cooler weather. But that’s a good thing.

He’s been promoted from Low-A Jupiter, located in Florida, to High-A Beloit, in Wisconsin. The news of his promotion came on Tuesday from the Miami Marlins before the Hammerheads’ game.

Now, Jenkins-Cowart is a Sky Carp. At Jupiter, he batted .247 with two homers, six stolen bases, 14 runs scored and 16 RBI in 89 at-bats over 24 games.

It’s not clear when he will play for the Beloit Sky Carp. He was not in the Jupiter lineup on Tuesday.
