A former William & Mary guard selected to the All-CAA Rookie team before entering the transfer portal has announced he will play for East Carolina starting with the 2025-26 season.
Isaiah Mbeng made the announcement Wednesday on his X page, posting two photos of himself wearing ECU attire.

“Let’s get it pirates,” Mbeng wrote.
He averaged 5.7 points in 32 games this past season. He led William & Mary with 110 assists and also had 48 steals. The Tribe went 17-15 overall, 11-7 in the CAA.
He announced on March 26 that he was entering the transfer portal.
The Pirates recently announced the signing of Corey Caulker, who hit the transfer portal after playing at Eastern Florida State this past season. ECU also has inked former Providence player Eli DeLaurier.
