ECU alum Harold Varner III is in a nine-way tie for 11th place on Friday after the first round of the LIV Golf Adelaide in South Australia.
Varner shot a 2-under-par and is four shots off the lead, held by Sam Horsfield.
Varner is also part of the 4Aces GC team that’s also tied for second at 6-under-par. The Torque GC group is leading at 8-under-par.
