Harold Varner III finishes tied for 19th at LIV Golf Singapore

ECU alum Harold Varner III finished in a five-way tie for 19th after the finish of the LIV Golf Singapore event on Sunday.

Varner shot another 1-under par to finish at 4-under par. He had birdies on No. 14 and No. 18 and a bogey on No. 12.

Joaquin Niemann won the event after shooting a -6 on Sunday to finish at 17-under par.

The 4Aces team, which includes Varner, Dustin Johnson, Thomas Pieters and Patrick Reed, dropped to third overall after leading the first two days. Johnson, who led the first two rounds, had a plus-2 on Sunday as the Aces lost by three shots.

Varner earned $220,000 with his finish.
