Gavin Williams goes five innings, gets win with five Ks in last Spring Training game

Gavin Williams looks ready for the start of the Major League Baseball season.

The ECU alum was on point in Monday’s 4-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He pitched the first five innings, allowing no hits and striking out five. He picked up the win, his second of Spring Training.

He dominated overall, racking up a 2.08 ERA with 26 strikeouts and a 0.98 WHIP in 17.1 innings.
