The East Carolina baseball program concludes its fall practice slate this weekend with the annual Purple-Gold World Series inside Lewis Field at Clark-LeClair Stadium.
The Pirates play the first of two seven-inning intra-squad scrimmages Friday, Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m., followed by game two Saturday at 1 p.m. Admission is free of charge.
Seniors Ryley Johnson and Jake Hunter will serve as team captains for the series and will draft their respective squads during the week. Team rosters will be announced via ECU’s social media channels (X and Instagram).
