Former player of development returning to be ECU cornerbacks coach

ECU football coach Blake Harrell has moved on and hired a new cornerbacks coach.

FootballScoop.com reports Harrell has chosen Old Dominion cornerbacks coach Tarron Williams to lead the Pirates’ corners. Before taking the Old Dominion job, Williams was ECU’s director of player development.

Williams takes the job after Alabama nabbed Jason Jones to be cornerbacks coach there. Jones, who was at North Carolina this past season, had reportedly taken the ECU job. However, that changed after Alabama contacted him about the job there. Jones took the Alabama job on Tuesday, SI.com reports.
