Former ECU, Panthers coaches being considered for Charlotte job

Former ECU football coach Skip Holtz and former Carolina Panthers coach Steve Wilks are potential candidates for the Charlotte opening to replace Biff Poggi.

“I’m really looking for somebody that has an expertise on one side of the ball … Somebody that has cache and respect in college football coaching circles who has thrived in whatever role they may be in, whether they’re a coordinator or current head coach,” AD Mike Hill said, according to the Charlotte Observer.
