Former ECU cornerback says he’ll play at Virginia Tech next

Another former ECU starter who entered the transfer portal has announced where he’ll play in 2025.

Isiah Brown-Murray posted to Instagram that he’ll play for Virginia Tech. On Dec. 9, he announced on social media he was leaving ECU, one of 15 athletes who were on ECU’s roster at one time who announced their intentions to enter the transfer portal.

Brown-Murray saw action in each of the Pirates’ games this season, registering 41 total tackles, 30 of them solo. He also had a tackle for loss, an interception for 35 yards and seven pass breakups.
