ECU alum Gavin Williams has had an impressive Spring Training.

Going into Wednesday’s game with the Athletics, he threw eight innings, yielding one earned run, for a 1.13 ERA. He struck out 16 hitters while walking only two.

In Wednesday’s game, he went 4.1 innings, giving up three runs, all earned, on three hits with five strikeouts and two walks in an 8-3 loss. He did not factor in the decision.
