The domino effect in the coaching world continued in the AAC on Monday.
Florida Atlantic named Zach Kittley as its next football coach. Kittley comes to Boca Raton after three seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Tech.
The 33-year-old is now the youngest head coach in the FBS.
A press release from the school read in part, “Florida Atlantic Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian White announced Monday that Zach Kittley has been named the school’s Hagerty Family Head Football Coach. One of the brightest and most innovative offensive minds in college football, Kittley comes to Boca Raton after three seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Texas Tech.”
