East Carolina returns to play this Saturday as the Pirates will play host to Boston College, Loyola Chicago and Canisius in the Pirate Invitational at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium.

ECU faces Loyola and Canisius at 2 and 4 p.m. respectively on Saturday and closes out the tournament with Boston College at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday. The Pirates have had nearly a week off due to winter weather in the Greenville area with the Duke midweek doubleheader getting postponed and the first day of the Pirate Invitational being cancelled.

Kanisha Anderson has had a strong start at the plate for ECU, batting .478 with 11 hits and 10 runs scored while AAC Pitcher of the Week Kendall Frost has been as good as advertised in the circle with a 1.14 ERA and a complete game shutout this season.

The Canisius Series
The all-time series between ECU and Canisius is tied at 5-5 with the last meeting coming on Feb. 24, 2018 when Canisius outlasted ECU 4-3 at the Pirate Invitational.
