Pitt Community College baseball coach Tommy Eason picked up his 600th career win on Tuesday.

According to the PCC website, “Tommy Eason took the helm of PCC’s baseball program in the summer of 2005. In 17 seasons as the Bulldogs’ head coach, he has tallied five conference tournament titles (2008, 2010, 2011, 2016 and 2017) and has reached the NJCAA World Series twice. (2010,2017).

“In 2010, Eason earned NJCAA Eastern District Coach of the Year honors as he led his team to the NJCAA Division I Baseball World Series, the PCC baseball program’s first-ever trip to Grand Junction, Colo. Seven years later, the Bulldogs went undefeated in the 2017 Region X Tournament to reach the NJCAA Division II World Series in Enid, Okla.”
