The Philadelphia Eagles are in a must-have moment.
They lost defensive lineman Milton Williams to the New England Patriots in the offseason. Now, the Eagles are desperately searching for help.
ECU alum Linval Joseph could be that answer.
SI.com’s Patrick McAvoy reports the Eagles are actively searching for a veteran who could fill the spot left open by Williams’ departure. Joseph, a free agent after playing with the Cowboys last season, could be that answer. Joseph had two sacks, a forced fumble and 19 tackles in 17 games, none of which he started.
Joseph could be a cheap pickup at around $2 million over a year. The 36-year-old can definitely still play, and the Eagles would love nothing more than to rub the move into the faces of the Cowboys.
