The Toronto Argonauts recently lost ECU alum DaShaun Amos to free agency, signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. On Monday, the Argonauts picked up another former ECU star.
The team announced the signing of offensive lineman Justin Redd. He played five games with the UFL’s Houston Roughnecks in 2024 and was with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL in 2023. The USFL is now part of the UFL.
Redd played 34 games in five years at Norfolk State, from 2017-2021, before joining ECU in 2022. He started all 13 games that season for the Pirates.
