At least one East Carolina baseball alum is going to the Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

MLB.com reports Miami Marlins manager Clayton McCullough will be part of the NL coaching staff. Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will coach the team and has asked Atlanta Braves manager Brian Snitker and McCullough to serve as honorary coaches with the Dodgers’ coaching staff.

New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone will coach the American League team.

In a media release on Tuesday, MLB.com reports in part, “McCullough, who was named manager of the Marlins last November, spent the previous four seasons as first base coach of the Dodgers under Roberts. Prior to his coaching career, McCullough played in 104 Minor League games across four seasons after being drafted by Cleveland in the 22nd round of the 2002 Draft.”
