DaShaun Amos signs with Hamilton as CFL free agency signings begin

The CFL free agency signing season has begun. ECU alum DaShaun Amos has officially marked it by signing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Amos, who won the Grey Cup with the Toronto Argonauts last season, signed a deal with his new team. Specifics were not released, 3DownNation.com reports.

Amos played in 18 games for Toronto and had 25 tackles, five interceptions, three pass knockdowns and a defensive touchdown. He’s played six seasons in the CFL, starting with the Calgary Stampedes. He later went to the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers before returning to the CFL.

For his six-season career in the CFL, the 5-foot-11 defensive back has 175 tackles, 16 interceptions, two defensive touchdowns and a forced fumble over 76 games.
