Agnos got the news on Sunday and the team announced it on its social media channels. Agnos will take the spot held by pitcher Victor Vodnik, who was placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation.
Agnos is the Rockies’ No. 26 prospect. He pitched several games in Spring Training and was one of the last players sent down to the minors. He ended last season with the Hartford Yard Goats in Class-AA and got a non-roster invite to pitch for the Rockies in Spring Training.
He has a 2.25 ERA in six appearances this season, racking up two saves while giving up three hits with 10 strikeouts and three walks over eight innings.
