DaShaun Amos and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are the hottest team in the CFL.
The ECU football alum and his team won their fifth straight on Sunday, holding off the British Columbia Lions, 37-33. It’s the first time since 2019 that Hamilton (5-2) has had such a winning streak.
Amos came over to Hamilton as a free agent after helping Toronto win the Grey Cup last season. So far, he’s been a vital part of the team’s defense, racking up 16 tackles and an interception this season.He had a tackle for loss in Sunday’s win.
Hamilton has a bye going into Week 9. Here’s how the rest of the Pirates in the CFL did during Week 8.
