It pays to be Ja’Quan McMillian.
The ECU alum and Denver Broncos nickelback, earned a $773,090 performance bonus check for his play in the 2024-25 season. That was tops among members of the Broncos, according to 9News.com.
The website reports McMillian made $915,000 in salary during his second season. He played 870 snaps on defense and another 39 on special teams. The bonus check he got was based on an NFL Players Association formula that tabulates bonus checks for players.
McMillian’s check was bigger than quarterback Bo Nix ($296,510) along with defensive star Patrick Surtain ($104,158).
