Tyler Snead’s best season in the CFL is being recognized by his team.
The Montreal Alouettes have extended the contract of the ECU football alum for two more years, according to multiple sources. CFL.ca reports the contract keeps Snead there through the 2027 season.
Snead, now in his fourth season with Montreal, made waves in 2023 when he had 56 catches for 788 yards and five touchdowns. He’s already eclipsed that this season, hauling in 62 catches for 789 yards and three touchdowns.
He’s among the CFL leaders in catches and yards.
“Tyler has been our leader this year at receiver,” said Alouettes general manager Danny Maciocia, according to CFL.ca. “He has shown consistency and has always been able to adapt, no matter who was throwing him the ball. We’re happy that his journey will continue with us.”
Montreal (6-7) is at Toronto (5-8) this Friday.
