Shawn Armstrong makes Cubs debut, explains unique name for son

ECU Alum Shawn Armstrong made his Chicago Cubs debut in Sunday’s 14-1 win over the Washington Nationals.

He pitched an inning and walked one.

Before the game, he told CubsInsider.com how his son, Declan Cutter, got his name. “Cutter definitely came from the pitch that got me to the big leagues,” Armstrong said.
