Former ECU men’s basketball star RJ Felton saw playing time for the second straight game and helped the Indiana Pacers to a win, 91-88 over the New York Knicks, on Thursday.
Felton saw a bit more playing time, playing 8:55 and scoring five points. He connected on a 3-pointer that got him a highlight reel and also connected on a jumper. Overall, he was 2-for-6 from the floor, 1-for-3 from 3-point range. He also had a rebound, assist and a block while also picking up two fouls.
He first came into the game with 2:28 to go in the first quarter and played into the second quarter. He hit the 3-pointer with 6:31 left in the half for a 30-21 lead. He later went out and came in again briefly late in the third quarter.
Indiana is now 2-2 and will face New Orleans on Friday at 9 p.m. on ESPN.
