PRL Tuesday: Marlon Gunn on his future, big night for Burleson, ECU football

by | Aug 4, 2026

It was a big night of sports for several ECU Pirates alumni. We’ll discuss that and more on today’s “Pirate Radio Live.”

We’ll talk about the three-home run night that Alec Burleson had for the Cardinals, along with the trades involving Jeff Hoffman and Connor Norby. Former Pirates running back Marlon Gunn will speak about the NCAA decision that would give him an extra year of eligibility and allow him to return to the ECU football team this fall. Bryce Williams and Mike Mullis will also take part in the conversation on all of the big news, including the Pirates’ fall practices preparing to get underway. Our look at the opponents for the ECU football season continues with Matt Swierad, the Charlotte play-by-play voice. Tune in starting at 3 to hear it all live.
