A big night for ECU football alum and upcoming Hall of Fame inductee Justin Hardy helped the Ottawa Red Blacks to a win over the defending Grey Cup champions in Week 10 of the CFL season.
Hardy had two touchdown catches and finished with seven receptions for 106 yards in Ottawa’s 46-42 win over Toronto. His two scores not only gave Ottawa the lead but extended it to enough so that a late Toronto comeback was negated.
It was the second straight week Hardy had two touchdown catches. Had four catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-11 win over Calgary in Week 9. He scored both touchdowns in the first half and had a catch that led to a field goal as Ottwa scored 17 second-quarter points to lead 17-3 at the half.
For the season, Hardy now has 44 catches for 549 yards and five touchdowns, all among the CFL leaders.
Here’s what the ECU alum did this week in the CFL.
