Josh Moylan has been a one-man wrecking crew of sorts lately.
The ECU baseball alum had another big night for the Hudson Valley Renegades in a 7-1 win over Brooklyn. He was 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored.
He singled and scored in the sixth to give Hudson Valley a 3-1 lead. He then singled and scored in the seventh to extend the lead to 6-1. He then doubled in the eighth, his 15th of the season.
Moylan has had his struggles at the plate this season, batting .208 (61 for 293) with 33 runs, 42 RBI and six homers. However, in August and especially since fellow ECU alum Josh Grosz was traded by the New York Yankees, which is who Hudson Valley plays under, to the Colorado Rockies, he’s hitting .348 (8 for 23) with a double, two homers, four RBI and four walks.
