The ECU baseball alum and Toronto Blue Jays closer picked up his 26th save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. He came on in the ninth inning and struck out two to end it.
His ERA is down to 4.66. He’s had two saves this week after losing two games in a week, July 22 to the New York Yankees and July 29 to the Baltimore Orioles.

- Danny Beal, Down East Bird Dawgs (Independent): Took the loss in 6-5 win by New York Boulders. Started and went five innings, giving up four earned runs on 10 hits with five walks and two strikeouts.
