ECU alum Jeff Hoffman got his sixth save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Yankees on Friday.
The Blue Jays got three runs in the top of the ninth inning after trailing 2-1. Hoffman then came in and nailed the door shut, getting the first two outs before giving up a double. He then got the last out on a pop-up to drop his ERA to 1.35.

The Yankees announced Saturday morning the game would be moved to a doubleheader on Sunday due to the threat of bad weather.
Trey Yesavage
Trey Yesavage pitched 4.2 innings, gave up two runs on a hit and two walks with 10 strikeouts. He left with the game tied at 2-2. Dunedin won 4-2 over Tampa in 10 innings. It was the second straight start where he was perfect in the first four innings with 10 or more strikeouts.
Josh Moylan
He played third base for Hudson Valley on Friday. He batted 2-for-3 with a RBI and run in 3-0 win over Asheville. He singled and drove in a run in the second inning and later scored to make it 3-0 in the inning.

- Carson Whisenhunt, Sacramento RiverCats (San Francisco Giants): Started and went three innings in 9-8 loss to El Paso. Gave up seven earned runs on nine hits with three walks and a strikeout. Gave up a grand slam in the third inning.

- Carter Spivey, Akron Rubber Ducks (Guardians): Game with Richmond rained out. Will play doubleheader on Saturday
