Pirates in baseball: Carter Cunningham has big night in Canadians’ win

by | Apr 27, 2025

Carter Cunningham will be on Parker Byrd’s podcast, which will be released on Sunday. Before that, he had a big night at the plate on Saturday.

The ECU alum was 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and a walk in his team’s 10-1 win over Everett. He singled in the third, walked and scored in the sixth and hit a two-run homer in the sixth to boost Vancouver’s lead to the final margin. It was his first homer with Vancouver.

The night improved his batting average to .200 for the season and comes a day after he was 1-for-3 with a walk. Before that, he was placed on the Development List on April 18 and returned to the team last Friday.
