What’s a good NFL season without fantasy football?
Playing fantasy football is as popular as ever and there’s no lack of places to play. The trick is drafting the best team to get the job done each week with quality reserves to fill the void.
Everyone knows that Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry is among the best in the NFL. However, he’s not the only one in the backfield to take notice of to rack up those fantasy points.
PFF.com ranks the top running backs for the upcoming season. East Carolina football alum Keaton Mitchell is among the top 50 backs listed, going No. 49. With Henry and Justice Hill likely to get the bulk of the carries, that makes Mitchell a possible gamble for playing time.
However, PFF.com writer Nathan Jahnke believes there’s plenty of value in getting Mitchell. He writes in part, “His big-play potential makes him an intriguing handcuff in fantasy leagues if Henry were to miss time, as Mitchell would likely lead the team in carries while Hill remains the receiving back.”
