East Carolina baseball pitcher Ethan Norby had another strong start in a losing effort as USA Baseball dropped a 6-5 game to Samurai Japan 180 in the 45th USA vs. Japan Collegiate All-Star Series final game.

Team USA went 0-5 vs. Japan in the series.
Norby ended up with five strikeouts in three innings of work. He left with the game tied at 2-2. USA took a 3-2 lead in the fifth but Japan retook the lead with four runs in the bottom half of the inning and held on from there.
