New date announced for Rahjai Harris signing event in Greenville

by | Jan 10, 2025

A new date has been announced for ECU senior running back and Military Bowl hero Rahjai Harris to meet fans and sign autographs at an event in Greenville.

Harris was originally scheduled to take part in the event on Saturday, Jan. 11, at Shimmer Boutique on Greenville Boulevard. However, due to the threat of winter weather on Jan. 10-11, the event was moved to next Saturday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will also be held at Shimmer.

It was Harris’ 86-yard run for a touchdown with 1:33 to go – ECU’s longest play of the season — that sealed the Pirates’ 26-21 comeback win over NC State in the Military Bowl. Harris earned MVP honors in the game.

Harris finished his career with 3,096 rushing yards, second in school history and just ahead of Leonard Henry (3,089). Harris also had 29 touchdowns on the ground. He topped 1,000 yards for the season on Saturday, finishing the year with 1,166 yards on 206 carries and 11 touchdowns.

While you’re there at Shimmer, you can check out the selection of merchandise they have. Right now, you can also go online and order their “HELL YEAH” Military Bowl T-shirts and hoodies.
