Harold Varner III tied for 25th after second round in Spain

Valderrama is proving to be a tough golf course again, at least for most of the competitors.

ECU golf alum Harold Varner III is seven golfers tied at +3 after the second round of the LIV Golf Andalucia in San Roque, Spain. The first and second rounds were completed on Saturday after windy conditions on Friday cut the first round short.

Varner had birdies on No. 6, 13 and 14 but gave them away wih four bogeys. He had a +2 after the first round and a +1 for the second.

Taylor Gooch followed his -2 in the first round with a -5 to take a four-shot lead.
