Harold Varner III tied for 22nd after second round of LIV Golf Hong Kong

ECU alum Harold Varner III stayed consistent in the second round of the LIV Golf Hong Kong Tournament.

He shot a second-round 2-under-par on Saturday to match the same score from Friday. He stands tied for 22nd at 4-under-par, tied with nine other golfers.

He birdied No. 14 again and also picked up birdies at No. 11 and No. 13.

The 4Aces GC team he’s paired with Dustin Johnson, Thomas Pieters and Patrick Reed remained 12th overall at -7, one shot ahead of last-place Iron Heads GC.

First-round leader Paul Casey is tied for the top spot with Peter Uihlein and Sergio Garcia at 11-under.
