Harold Varner III starts with 2-under, 4Aces team in lead

ECU alum Harold Varner III had a bogey-free round of 69 and helped his 4Aces team get off to a good start on Friday in the opening round of the LIV Golf Singapore.

Varner sits tied for 21st with four other golfers at 2-under-par. He had birdies on No. 8 and No. 18 to earn his final score.

Dustin Johnson shot an 8-under-par and leads the field by three shots. He’s the captain of the 4Aces squad that leads by two shots. Varner is also on the 4Aces squad along with Patrick Reed and Thomas Pieters. Johnson, Varner and Reed each had a bogey-free round.
