Former ECU football coach Mike Houston released a statement to Pirate Nation on Wednesday, three days after he was fired.
He thanked everyone for what they did for him and his family in their five-plus years as head coach. Houston was fired last Sunday after the team’s loss to Army.
Blake Harrell, the team’s defensive coordinator, has taken over as the interim coach.
