East Carolina sophomore starting pitcher Ethan Norby was selected by D1Baseball.com to its Midseason Second-Team All-Americans list.
Norby was one of five starting pitchers who were selected. He was joined by Kade Anderson of LSU, Dom Fritton of NC State, Brennan Stuprich of Southeastern Louisiana and Pico Kohn of Mississippi State.

Norby is 4-2 this season in seven starts with a 2.49 ERA in 43.1 innings. He has given up 30 hits, 12 earned runs, struck out 60 and walked nine. Batters are hitting .194 against him.
He earned AAC Pitcher of the Week accolades twice this season and national Pitcher of the Week honors by Perfect Game and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association for his 19-strikeout performance against Coastal Carolina over 7.1 innings.
